This site represents my personal grammatikos. A grammatikos is a manner of grimoire - one that specifically pertains to letters. Thus this Work was originally born out of my most intimate and Magickal relationship with letters.
To explain, letters (that is, the individual letters themselves) can be used to precisely demonstrate an entirely different language than the one spoken and familiar. This other occulted language represents an Astrology-based symbol tongue and system for the Way of Return (to Union).
The traditional "Magick Alphabet" are the 22 letters of the Hebrew Aleph-Bet. However, the English Alphabet of 26 letters realizes the four hidden paths of the Tree of Life, which reflect the four-fold nature of Human Awareness; the four Worlds of our existence. This is enough to render English a "complete" Magick Alphabet for the modern day.
Admittedly, I once thought of English as an often peculiar and random admixture of a language; certainly not a vessel with any meaningful and intentional heritage! I have since learned better. It is, in fact, not difficult to trace each letter to its sacred origin and discover the occulted meaning each letter has carried within itself across time. The English Alphabet is a true alphabet of Union, for I believe that, similar to (and thus suitable for!) the Astrological impulses of the modern Age, it represents a restoration of the dispersion (of Knowledge).
My purpose in initiating Liber 88 was to create a dynamic format where I can put-forth the Hidden Wisdom of the Alphabet and inspire others toward the Work of Liberating their inherent potential.
